Nick Hazel

Jewelry designer, CAD/CAM model maker, and head of production, Nick Hazel has all the skills to bring your jewelry design from idea to finished piece. With a BA in Geology from the University of Texas at Austin, and a JGGS from the Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology, Nick knows every aspect of the jewelry industry. Trained as a geologist, stone faceter, bench jeweler and CAD operator, he can both identify gemstones and create beautiful settings for them. To create your custom design, Nick creates a digital model in CAD from which he can create a virtual image of your ring to show you, before he mills a wax for casting. When not at work, Nick loves good food, good beer, and live music. He also enjoys traveling, playing racquetball and spending time with his beautiful wife.
