We specialize in making custom jewelry, whether you are creating a brand new piece or redesigning your old jewelry. To begin the process, a designer will sit down with you and listen to your ideas for your new piece of jewelry. The designer will sketch several ideas, then flesh out a final design for your approval.
Once a sketch is approved, the process begins to create the piece in three dimensions. Either a model of the piece is created in CAD, or metal fabrication begins immediately. If a CAD model is created, the designer creates a three-dimensional file on the computer, and then this file is milled on a CNC rapid prototyping machine in wax. Changes can still be made to a wax after your inspection and approval. Metal fabrication skips this step and allows the piece to be immediately handmade out of raw metal to the specifications of the design.
Upon approval of the wax, the piece is cast in our on-site foundry. We cast in 14k and 18k gold as well as platinum and sterling silver. The piece is then hand finished, the stones set, and the final piece polished. Each finished piece is presented in an elegant gift box, and includes an appraisal for insurance purposes.
