Sketches

A designer will sit down with you and listen to your ideas for your new piece of jewelry. The designer will draw several ideas, then flesh out a final design for your approval.

Wax carving and or metal fabrication

Once a sketch is approved, a model of the piece
is carved in wax. You will be able to try on this model and in most cases, have your stones temporarily attached. Changes can still be made to a wax carving after your inspection and approval.

Metal fabrication skips this step and allows the piece to be immediately handmade out of raw metal to the specifications of the design.

Mold

Upon approval of the wax, the piece is cast in our on-site foundry. We cast in 14k and 18k gold and in platinum. The piece is then hand finished, smoothed and polished and the stones set. Each finished piece also comes with an appraisal of its replacement value.
