Are you counting down to the Super Bowl yet? we are, even at
yes. Football and fashion really do have something in common.
We'll be covering fashion events -- yes, there will be runway
shows
and other parties -- leading up to the Feb. 3
game in Glendale But this week, the necklace (above) is an accessory
worth talking about.
Inspired by all the Super Bowl activities, Oliver Smith Jeweler
created the diamond necklace, called the Bow of Strength, to
give as an award to women who have made a difference in their
communities. The bow symbolizes the woman as the strength that
ties the family together and supports the community. This year's
recipients are Holly Robinson Peete (the HollyRod Foundation),
Lonnie Ali (the Muhammad Ali Foundation)
and Shonda Schilling (the Shade Foundation).
The necklace is a gift for them to keep or to use for their
foundations and will be given to them at different events.
See the necklace for yourself at
Oliver Smith Jeweler 8787 N. Scottsdale Road, suite 116
** This pendant
is available at Oliver Smith Jeweler for $795 of which $200
dollars from the sale goes to charity.
